Catch & Collect
Insects, beetles, spiders, arachnids, and winged bugs at launch. Find them, buy them, earn them, and log every new trait combo you discover.
/bug catchField journal Β· Discord terrarium game
TerraBot turns your Discord server into a shelf of living terrariums. Catch and raise pixel bugs built from layered traits, keep them fed and happy, breed and fuse them into combos nobody has ever logged, and fill a Bug-Codex that never quite ends.
No two collections look alike. A bug is layered from species, body type, pattern, color, appendages, size, and a special trait, and each layer has its own rarity weight. The sprite below is a live placeholder demo of that exact system, rolled in your browser. Real layered pixel art replaces it later (see the asset notes in the repo).
Collection, care, and competition in equal parts. Commands shown are the planned names and may shift before launch.

/bug catchHunger, hydration, happiness, cleanliness, and climate, with per-species ideal ranges. Well-kept bugs grow through size stages and earn bonus drops.
/terrarium viewPair two compatible, well-cared-for bugs to produce eggs. Offspring inherit traits with a mutation chance for combos that are not in either parent.
/bug breedCombine two bugs into one hybrid. Trait-merge plus mutation, higher risk and higher reward, and the fastest road to a codex entry nobody else has.
/bug fuseThe collection book. Every species and trait you have ever logged, with completion milestones, badges, and rewards for the truly obsessed.
/bug codexDaily and weekly stock: bugs, species-specific foods, habitat decor, care tools, and cosmetics. Everything playable is earnable in-game.
/bug shopEach terrarium drifts toward entropy and your job is to push back. Neglected bugs get unhappy and then sick, but recovery is always possible: TerraBot is a cozy game, not a guilt machine.
Species-specific foods. A spider does not want nectar, and the shop will happily sell you both.
Mist and water on a rhythm. Desert species and bog species disagree about what counts as enough.
Happy bugs grow, unlock breeding eligibility, and occasionally dig up gifts for you.
Terrariums get grimy. Clean tanks keep illness away and make your showcase screenshots prettier.
Temperature and humidity with per-species ideal ranges. Get it right and growth accelerates.
Shared across the whole SpartanBots ecosystem, plus a procedural rarity score on top: a one-of-a-kind trait combo is its own flex even on a Common species.
One shared premium currency (Drachmas), one Patreon that covers every bot, and zero gameplay paywalls anywhere. Soft currency and everything playable stay earnable in-game.
